Chairman's Message

In June 2024, ECIC selected Uzbekistan as the destination for a business mission, motivated by the country’s vast market potential and numerous investment opportunities. Uzbekistan offers a dynamic and rapidly growing economic environment that is ripe for exploration and collaboration. Following the success of the June mission, ECIC received an official invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan to assist in organizing the Uzbek-Egyptian Business Forum, aimed at attracting prominent Egyptian corporations and their Uzbek counterparts to foster stronger economic ties.

The September mission culminated in the highly anticipated business forum held in the Tashkent region on September 12, 2024. The forum was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Cairo and hosted by the Governor of Tashkent.

This event featured a series of presentations and speeches from both Egyptian and Uzbek representatives, focusing on the practical implementation of joint investment initiatives and the expansion of bilateral trade volumes.

On September 13, 2024, the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan facilitated roundtable discussions and G2B meetings, in collaboration with eighteen key ministries and agencies. These discussions aimed to explore new avenues for cooperation in strategic sectors including agriculture, education, health, tourism, and finance. The meetings highlighted the extensive opportunities available to foreign investors, particularly through Uzbekistan’s Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives, which offer attractive incentives such as tax and customs privileges, infrastructure support, and legal protections for entrepreneurs.

Throughout these events, representatives from Egyptian business circles were introduced to the significant potential for collaboration with Uzbek industries. The discussions laid the groundwork for future deals and partnerships, helping to pave the way for a stronger economic relationship between Egypt and Uzbekistan in key growth sectors.

Mr. Abdallah Hossam - All Care SOS Emergencies

It was a great honor to visit Uzbekistan on behalf of All Care SOS Emergencies and meet with the esteemed Deputy Minister of Health and Deputy Minister of Education. During our discussions, we focused on the critical importance of fostering collaboration between All Care SOS Emergencies and Uzbekistan’s healthcare and educational sectors. The primary objective of these conversations was to explore the development of medical training programs in line with international standards, aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of healthcare providers, medical staff, and educational professionals in universities, schools, and institutes across the country.

We addressed the pressing need for well-structured emergency assistance services, as well as the significance of ensuring that healthcare professionals at all levels are equipped with the necessary skills to provide the highest level of care. This includes not only medical staff in hospitals but also educators and support staff in academic institutions, who play a pivotal role in health education and first response in emergency situations.

It was truly inspiring to witness Uzbekistan’s commitment to advancing its healthcare sector. The vision of the Uzbek government to enhance and modernize its healthcare services is impressive, and I am confident that through ongoing collaboration and the implementation of international training standards, we can make a substantial and lasting impact on the well-being of the people of Uzbekistan.

I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to the Deputy Ministers for their openness to cooperation and their dedication to the health and education of their people. It is clear that Uzbekistan is on a path of great progress, and All Care SOS Emergencies is eager to contribute to this journey of growth and excellence in the healthcare, emergency medical response services and educational sector.

We look forward to strengthening our partnership and working together to achieve these shared goals.
